Weekly Market Watch: It's Tee Time

⛳️ Golf Trading Is Here: Shriners Children’s Open begins October 6, 9:40am ET

Golf is now available in Sporttrade and our traders can jump right in with the Shriners Children’s Open this weekend! Is it boring to just pick the favorite? Yes. But Patrick Cantlay is one of the only big names in the field and is trading at $12/contract pre-tournament. Cantlay came on strong late in the PGA season, winning the BMW Championship in August. If he gets off to a good start, we’ll see where he stands when the round ends on Friday. If he’s near the lead, you can sell some contracts to recoup on your original spend and let the remainder on Cantlay ride!

📈 Buy Low Sell High: MIA Dolphins @ NY Jets Sunday October 9th, 1pm ET

The Jets are sitting at 2-2 this season, with both of their wins coming in dramatic come-from-behind fashion; a miracle in Cleveland and a fourth-quarter rally in Pittsburgh. It’s the first consecutive road victories for the lowly Jets since 2015. But even after a fourth quarter in which Zach Wilson looked like a competent QB1, the Jets moneyline is still trading at just $38 on Sporttrade. It’s Wilson’s home debut and if he can carry over the momentum from last Sunday, it’s easy to picture the Jets with a lead against the Dolphins, who are starting backup QB Teddy Bridgewater.

🚧 Limit Order Up: NY Giants @ GB Packers Sunday October 9th, 9:30am ET

We’ve got yet another London game this weekend as the Packers face the Giants who are down to their third string quarterback. The Under on Sporttrade is 41.5 and currently trading at $54. That’s a high price to pay for something that should ideally be a 50-50 market, but it’s very possible the Packers’ befuddling offense and whatever attack the Giants are able to roll out won’t be able to combine for 41.5 points. So look to place a limit buy on the Under with the hopes that some early scoring pushes the price down.

We all love watching a full day of football, but work needs to get done around the house at some point on Sunday, and usually it’s when the London game is in action. Placing a limit buy order enables you to execute a trade at your desired price, all while you’re out running errands or raking leaves. Can your sportsbook do that?
